MDI Spacer:
- Be sure to check that the Spacer is free of foreign objects before use.
- If using this device with a MDI that contains a steroid, wipe the patient’s face with soap and water after use to remove any medication. If possible, also rinse patient’s mouth with water.
- Do not use with a dry powder inhaler (DPI).
Silicone Mask:
- Patients should be monitored constantly whenever this device is in use.
- Check for clear airflow passage prior to use.
